Wah-Ming Chang has received grants from the New York Foundation for the Arts, the Urban Artist Initiative, the Bronx Writers’ Center, and the Saltonstall Foundation for the Arts. Her photography has appeared in The New York Times, Drunken Boat, and Open City, an online magazine published by the Asian American Writers’ Workshop; her nonfiction in Words without Borders and Open City; and her fiction in Mississippi Review, Arts & Letters Journal of Contemporary Culture, Kartika Review, and Swarm Quarterly, and has been nominated for a Pushcart Prize and was longlisted in Wigleaf's Top 50 in 2014. She lives and works in Brooklyn.
